About KoKinMa
Welcome to KoKinMa, where stories, songs and immersive journeys come together in one creative landscape.
Inspired by the ideas of kokoro (heart, mind and spirit), kin (that which is precious) and ma (meaningful space), I've created KoKinMa as a place to pause, reflect and connect with what is precious in ourselves and one another.
Here, stories, songs and shared experience become a way of exploring our shared humanity.
Explore The Listening Tree at the heart of KoKinMa where you can listen to commissioned Lantern Songs. Step through The Archway into my fictional works, beginning with my debut novel, The Secret Songwriter, and its companion album of original songs that bring its musical world beyond the page.
Journeys, Rose Cottage and The Round are still unfolding. Together, they'll continue to grow into a creative landscape of stories, songs and immersive experiences, with new paths opening over time.
About Anita Boole

Hi, I’m Anita Boole, a British novelist and songwriter living in a quiet Welsh village in the Vale of Glamorgan, where I write from my cosy cottage with its wood-burning stove.
My creative work brings together two of my greatest passions: storytelling and music. My debut novel, The Secret Songwriter, is set in Tuscany and explores love, loss and identity. The novel is accompanied by an album of original songs, written from within the story and its characters’ world, offering another way to connect with the inner life of the novel’s main character.
I love creating immersive book-and-album experiences that bring stories and songs together, exploring our connections with ourselves and others. My writing blends escapism and romance with the emotional depth of women’s fiction, and I hope my stories transport readers, touch something within them and leave them feeling uplifted.
KoKinMa is the creative home for all my work. It’s a landscape imagined into existence to share my stories and songs with others, with room for new ideas to take shape, grow and find their way into the world – and to you.
